Meghan Fillier is a writer, poet, and an independent photographer and film maker hailing from the beautiful and cultural city of St. John's, Newfoundland. In 2016, she placed in the Top 10 across the province in the Kiwanis Short Story Contest with her story "Vixen of Vengeance" and has been published in several poetry anthologies
such as Island Magic, Inclusion, The Waves on the Shore, and The Inspired Heart (Edition 3). In 2018, she directed, produced, and wrote her own documentary titled “I Found Myself;” the stories of the strength of women and the resilience they hold within them. She is currently working towards her master's degree in Sociology and a
minor in Psychology.
